I like looking at them, I like the creativity of the builders and the craftsmanship (on some). But I don’t want one, and I don’t really see the point of buying one. They are really a way of showing off what you can do.

my cousin runs a club / website called volksrods.com. Pretty much the same concept just with vw's. There's some pretty creative stuff on there. check them out .
