Anyone regret not ordering Premium 2 Pkg?

Waiting for my order to go to a build status on an e92 and right now I just have the ZCP checked off with a few other options. I like the premium package but the only thing I would really "need" out of it would be the homelink and bluetooth. So does anyone regret not ordering the premium package after the fact?

you can retrofit homelink, and I personally don't talk on the phone enough to warrant bluetooth - it's all based on your needs

I also was set on ZCP and did not go with the premium 2 but ordered bluetooth as a standalone. While it is annoying to use my garage clicker instead of the mirror function, I am still happy with my choice, you know, because it's lighter without power seats :P
The rest seems like a waste to me personally.

I figured with the leather/trim option I wanted as part of the package, the remaining amount was worth it, to me, to have the power seats with memory & power folding mirrors. Both I really like. Love the bluetooth, works great with my iPhone. I have rotating frequency garage door openers, so the universal doesn't work .

I don't regret at all not ordering P2, ordered Convenience and think that automatically makes you include bluetooth.

Could care less about homelink, remote is fine.

Also didn't want power seats...even at a cost of $4/month to include P2. Worked out that way based on how I optioned the car.

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure I have the same kind of openers and I programmed the mirror on my infiniti to work with them (I haven't taken delivery of my M3 yet).

There was a special procedure I had to go through that included opening a door on the garage door opener and pushing a button inside there and then programming the mirror.

Here's some old BMW instructions for programming rolling code openers. I'm sure the procedure hasn't changed much, if at all.

I ordered Permium 2 Package mainly for the side folding mirrors, homelink, and Bluetooth.

I hit that button, hopped off the ladder and into the car, so many times...I lost count. I moved the car out...in...under. It just wouldn't take.
I'll look through that link you posted, so if there's something there the manual left out.

I think you have to call them (the people that made your garage door opener) I had to and then all worked out fine. I did this with my wife's Mercedes on my M3 I don't have that option I have the garage door opener in the M3 ashtray works for me.

Bottom line, call the garage door opener people you will see they can help you out.

I only had one BMW without ZPP.... came with that leatherette
seats/interior.... I regret it to this day, even though my current E92 has ZPP.

Will never make this mistake again. Love everything about it.

I got p2 cuz it's the only way to get the interior mirror with compass.
Now, if I can only figure out how to program it for accuracy!

I bought Bluetooth as standalone option.

What I can't believe is how BMW charges extra for power seats. That's absurd. Especially when numerous cheaper cars have them standard and this is supposed to be bmw's highest end 3 series. What's worse is on my '08 they were standard. But coming back to buy a second E92 it would've cost extra.

I'm not sure where BMW comes up with their pricing. I paid $2900 for the DCT in my M3, and while pricing a 135i for my wife, the DCT option is $450. ( she prefers the manual) I realize it isn't programmable like the M3's, but is mass produced software worth the difference...could be the plastic button used to change the settings I guess.

I selected the premium package 2 option on my build for the power folding mirrors, bluetooth, homelink, and the red novillo leather. I think it comes down to preference.

Home link doesn't work for me here in Germany but I had to have the folding mirrors with the small garage door openings & narrow streets. Had to pull them in on a couple occasions to get by in traffic & everytime I go in/out of the garage.

Everytime I park - they go in so nobody rakes them walking past.

Yeah, I also have the BT checked off as a separate option, so the premium pkg would essentially be costing me $1750. The payments on my propsective deal would go up $25 / month (36 month lease). So I'm trying to weigh if it's worth it...

$25 a month isn't bad for an additional $1,750. Usually it works out close to $30 additional for every $1000. But even at $25 I couldn't see paying that much every month just for power seats. It's rare someone has to get into the rear seat of my car. I'm the only one who drives, and it's usually just my girl in the passenger seat.

I don't have it, and don't miss it.
I bought a stripper ZCP, then spent $50 on a nice Motorola bluetooth speakerphone that clips on the visor, and $10 for a Nav app for my phone. Done.
I was biased against power seats, so that wasn't a problem. I thought I'd regret not getting the upgraded stereo, but I don't.

Net: perfectly satisfied.

The passenger mirror tilting down when in reverse is amazingly handy.
