Flash when Unlock/Lock Car

Hi guys I have an 09 e92. when i unlock my car using the remote, my turn signals double blink. however, when i lock the car using the remote the turn signals do not blink... instead i can just hear the sound of my doors being locked. i checked idrive and the setting for the flash is always on (FLASH DURING UNLOCK/LOCK). i also do not have a factory alarm. is the fact that i do not have a factory alarm the reason why my car's turn signals do not blink during locking? does anyone else with no alarm in the situation?


can the flashing turn signal during lock be coded in by a coder?
