Sorry for the noob question but how would this process work. Do I download the files from the link and then burn them onto a disc and insert in my car?

1 disc per file

Thanks again for hosting the files. Just finished updating after downloading and extracting the files to USB, works as advertised.

Linked email in Post #15 to get your FSC code. He accepts Paypal and just needs the last few numbers of your VIN to generate your code. Had mine in about 5 minutes after initial email and payment. It's the first thing the Nav will ask for once you start the update. Took about 30-45 minutes total.

Can you drive your car during those 30-45 min or do you have to be parked and idle? Which USB port do you use?

When I did the 2013 maps I had to use the glove box port. The update can resume progress if you turn off the car during the update.

the server has downloaded 1.8 TB

so far Verizon hasn't complained so I assume its ok
