Traffic conditions returning to OC from Bimmerfest

Hi, going southbound back to Orange County .. is there an optimum time to drive back to avoid traffic? Don't say 3 am

. Is there a time frame definitely to avoid? This guy told me few years back it took him 4 hours to get home!

your best bet is to just have dinner in santa barbara, enjoy the scenery, and drive home at 8pm.

John, I went last year and didn't have a long drive back down to OC. It was fine...
