Must say that'd be sweet to take delivery with the odometer reading 000001, that is one nice M3.

Thank you mate! Yes, it's quite the pleasure to get a 'virgin' M drei, and then to drive it in Europe - only wish I'd had time to run it in more. Actually did get it serviced in Aix- but too close to the drop-off to truly revel in revs.

I reckon, though, that an M3, driven vigorously along some of the Kiwi roads - bar the radar traps - would be sublime. You live in a gorgeous country.
