There isn't wifi while you're on the go unfortunately. Same ETA before 3pm to my office. can't wait Quote:
i have i think 8gb on my HDD and that's plenty.... But with space, wouldn't it be more advantageous to get a USB or a portable external? You would have a lot of space then.

I don't know why you guys are so worked up over this. If you need music space just buy a laptop hard drive and an enclosure. Problem solved.

The difference between the USB port and the snap-in feature-wise is that the snap-in have connections for analog video. Using the Ligthning adapter with the snap-in and sending $39 to me is the same thing. |

My text messages popping up in my screen? Great new way to crash the car!! It's gonna happen sooner or later to someone here! People never crash texting in their cars.

But yes, that's why I disabled emails -- plus I waste enough of my life dealing with email as it is and I don't want them poisoning the fun I have driving my car.

I understand where you're coming from however you could always let the idrive read out the text message for you. It's no different than changing the radio or selecting a song from your playlist. I do find it alot safer than having to whip out my iphone seeing how it's almost always connected to the extremely short Y cable for music in the armrest.

FYI: iPhone 5 works perfectly with BMW Apps and my 2012 E92 M3, Combox firmware 3.5.4 . The biggest improvement that I could see was the inclusion of LTE... connecting to a BMW Apps Web Radio station is so fast now compared with the 4S 3G that it is not even funny.
No iPod Out just because the iPhone 5 does not output analog video. |
