Cool conversion. However, 40K spent on mods and showcases it with camera phone pics?!? C'mon people...step up your photo game. Take some notes from EAS, iND, Vossen and the like.

The mods look very clean, I'll admit, but I CRINGE when I think of being seen in this thing, let alone the poor e90 that has had serious cosmetic surgery.

It's like turning a f-458 into a sedan....to me its just...why?

Station wagons/Touring Models look very unappealing to my eyes. Esp blowing 5-10K+ (probably) to turn a sleek vehicle into a frumpy odd looking thing.
To each his own though.
I am with you on this one. A touring wagon looks just like an E70 X5 but sits lower to the ground. IMO a touring wagon is a woman's vehicle and something you would typically see them driving. Nothing wrong with that at all.

I am just not a fan at all. I almost bet it would be the over 40 crowd that would like this!

When that's not an option, what do you do? Luckily, I live in SC so I can have 10 cars in my driveway and now one would give a damn.

That's not how it works in Europe. What if you live in Manhattan? Subjectively, I think wagons look good (I prefer Subaru Lecacy's in wagon form over sedan). Objectively, this blows all the other variants away in terms of usefulness. Tell me this car right isn't a Swiss pocket knife.

Assuming the handling and speed isn't significantly slower than let's say an E90, oh yea, I'd go wagon all day. Having said that, I was more talking if this was offered from factory.

P.S. I can't justify having an e39 M5 in my garage when I've got an E92 M3. However, I would do anything to have an E39 M5 Touring in along with my E92

P.S again: This is really the same thing with diesel powered cars. So many people here look at them and go why? I happen to love those too btw.

Because, this car can do pretty much everything. Haul people and luggage, while doing sub 5s and can be tracked.

My question is, why not? I'd pick an M3 wagon over a sedan and vert for sure.
For all that money its better jut to get cts-v wagon for a goo bit cheaper

2018 Audi RS5  [0.00]
Why?
Same reason why we have a sedan M3 (rear seats)
And a cabrio M3 (top down)
This has the rear seats like the e90
But it can also pull off a long trip including all luggage

Good clean work
I like mods like this, where you don't fall into the ricey end of the spectrum

Great build and it is amazing how all of these are coming from the UK with the steering wheel on the wrong side

We "Americans" might do that IF 335 touring was being offered in America.

What about the new GT? Pardon my ignorance, but isn't that almost like a wagon? Saw one on the road the other day, looked very wagonish.
