Nice vid. downshifts are sweet.
You should be FLAT right after turn in on the first chicane before the penis turn. There's a little dip right where you can turn in for that chicane, then flat out.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Thanks will do next time! Was still fun.....was sort of nervous to take this car balls to the walls on the first day out with it! Hence not going down to 2nd and braking early - stock brakes still became toast. New fluids and pads and tires for sure are coming next! Maybe I will see you out there sometime?

Great video and some good shifting! I'm sure you noticed the much sharper handling vs the F30.

Cool but it looks like you are bouncing around? Is it just the camera? Also I could be wrong but looks like you are a little far from the wheel. I am not expert but just some safety things I noticed that I myself try to focus on when I am out there. Car sounds great.

Also that track although fast looks like it fairly easy on brakes. There is enough space between turns.

Its the bumps in the road causing me to bounce i see the same ppl on the same track bouncing, couple times i had to readjust myself in the seat. Hands are pretty close i was sitting like a grandpa - i noticed that it looked far too when i first saw the clips

did you run EDC on Normal or Comfort? that autoclub pavement is not very smooth, it would scare the crap out of me when my car skips on the high speed oval.

Can you imagine doing this in an original C6 Z06 before they revised the dampening? holy cow.

Anyways, awesome experience and video. Can you run the full oval on wot and without lifting? R&T did a shootout with various cars 3 years ago and the E92 M3 was used. It achieved some decent top speed and times, but was limited to 155, and I think they achieved 145ish (GPS measured) at top speed. It's competition were mostly cars with 200mph speedos however.

lol @ that E60 M5, owner was just taking the car for a calm stroll....lol.

That GT3 was really conservative, he must have been bouncing around on the oval section, would no have been a plesant feeling sitting in that car...

BTW, I love your downshifting. You're like a pro. It appears you're just doing a simple blip-the-throttle downshift right? Did you find it easier to blip the throttle quickly with power button on?

I program my m button to put everything in sport/sport+ but my throttle remains on comfort. I dont like the twitchy pedal especially on bumpy services. My car is zcp so the dampers are always adjusting? Feels pretty good stock though. That exhaust noise i captured on my camera surprised me as well.

Was my first time so i lifted on entry of the bank and got back on progressively to the exit. Tires are stock and i didnt want to chew them up to much - that being said i should have lowered the pressures even more. My middles are more worn. Overinflated.

nice video, you have the heel-toe/throttle blipping down pretty nicely. Amazing what this car can do bare bone stock, it's exciting.

Im cheating with an extended ultimate pedal. But if it makes it that much easier? Why not? But i feel that it is excessive now. May try with it off next time but this allows me to have much more of my foot on the brakes in case it slips. Chucks arent the best racing shoes are they? This is with throttle map on normal.
