Just got a Wing

so much hate....
this is an exact rep of the gts spoiler, mark probably goes to the track more then 97% of the people talking about how ugly it is,
the car is also simply but tastefully modded,
coils,
supercharger,
bbk
oem zcps wheels (if the gts runs them... there good enough for the rest)
upgraded clutch,
akra exhaust..
a car does not have to be flashy to function.. it needs the right parts, which in this case, while functional... looks like crap to everyone else...
bmw must have been smoking some green when they made the gts then

For the track, absolutely.

Just pick up a stock trunk and run that around town and on track days slap on your trunk with spoiler. I did that with my S2000 back in the day.

adds unessesary drag on a street car with already bad gas mileage. it adds downforce but without the matching front gts lip (extended) its actually creating more lift up front. at higher speeds, steering is less responsive and car won't feel as planted than the same car without the wing. my input would be to put gts lip on to even it out so its safe or drive more carefully and set it to its least aggressive angle.

GTS, AMG black series, GT3RS, even my '05 STI I'd keep the wing because they were built that way. I doubt I'd add that wing on my car after the fact.

Looks much better at that angle, Def agree that you should complete it off with the front lip and diffuser as well. Looks sick with that colour, SSII is nice.

What brand of tint and percent do you have btw?

don't understand the hate....I've been with Mark to the track so I know he'll put the wing to good use even if on some days he does have to sit in BK/NYC traffic....his $ he can do what he wants with it, I think its tastefully done
