Cheers Hans Delbruck ! No worries, the pics, impressions and EVERYTHING will be reported asap

There's one added value with women drivers reporting - I can tell you whether or not the M3 is 'raceable' in 10 cm high heel shoes - on second thoughts what added value is that really ? Maybe I'm just still 'high' from today's news

That sounds like the beginning of a new heel/toe technique.
Congrats with your car, I know the feeling having been there recently. The wait sometimes never seem to end...

Terrible set back !!! The dealer confirmed that we won't get it this Friday (even if we would get all the paperwork done by Friday morning), but rather next Monday/Tuesday Apparently they don't have time/enough people available to prepare it (wash etc) on Friday afternoon.

I feel your pain Bastet. Seems as if this might be the longest weekend of your life.

Thanks mhutchins14 ! The 48 hours of this week-end will seem like nothing we've ever experienced before...

Well, tell them to have enough people available!

The good: You don't want them rushing thru prep on a Friday afternoon anyway.

The bad: You certainly don't want to give them the chance to take the car home for the weekend!

Can you go visit it anyway? I would go take pics with all the shipping stuff on it. That's what I did once, when a car I ordered was at the dealer but "we can't prep it til next week"

Sure we could go visit and I'm really quite tempted - on the other hand the dealer may not be able to get us OUT of the car & the shop after the closing hours

Finally there is light at the end of the tunnel and the pick-up date is set for next Wednesday, 16th January ! We also have the best salesman in the world, because he just said on the phone that he can go pick up all the papers from the customs on Monday morning - so we don't have to be there at 8 AM

If all goes smoothly next week (and the winter tyres arrive, because THEY have not yet arrived to the dealers ) we might even get it on Tuesday evening On the other hand taking the whole Wednesday afternoon off in order to pick up our new baby does not sound like a bad idea either!

I'd be using this time to prep for it to the utmost fullest!

Create the perfect play list to listen to on your first drive! Make sure you have the right shoes. Pick the right comfortable driving cloths... Basically everything that Chris from those videos went through.
