No time, Checa/Ryan will most likely starting the process of the next go around

Ryan actually gets away here and there.

They also sell other cars besides M's. They are slammed all the time.

The last 10 days or so have been quite a roller coaster with this allocation fiasco. But I'm happy to report that I got my production number for ED/PCD! Just awaiting confirmation on dates now.

Here's my build:

2013 M3 Coupe
Individual Hellrot
Rust Brown Extended Leather
Carbon Leather Trim
DCT
ZCP
ZPP
Enhanced Premium Sound
Satellite Radio
BMW Apps
Heated Seats
Auto High Beams

Already have several mods planned...the wait is going to brutal!

I spent quite a long time debating between Azurite Black and Hellrot, two of my favorite M colors. Azurite is so classy...paint equivalent of a tuxedo. But in the end, Hellrot won out of nostalgia for my Brilliantrot E34 M5 (a beast in its own right).

Huge thanks to Ryan and Francesca at Steve Thomas, who were a great help along the way...but most of all to David Aviles, who picked up the slack when things fell apart last week. Reputations of all are well deserved.

If at first you don't succeed...

Awesome that you got one of the very last ED allocations (I imagine)!

Very special Individual set up. Not that the carbon trim wouldn't look good, but did you think about Individual piano black trim for the rust brown and hellrot?

And I agree with you that Azurite is nice too (I have it on order. )

Thanks! Yeah, piano black was my initial choice. It looks amazing with rust brown--really refined. If I had gone with Azurite I would've gone with piano for sure. But something about Hellrot and carbon sounds so good to me...less refined, more 'sporty' (for lack of a better word).

I can always switch it out later if it doesn't work out...but I have a good feeling about it.

Congrats on your Azurite order! Can't wait to see it. Need more Azurite eye-candy around.

I had the (freak) chance to see an Imola Red Individual E92 M3. It had the carbon trim (with Platinum interior). I thought the carbon trim looked nice. Yes, you're right, it made it look sportier. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Does anyone know if Enhanced Premium Sound can be unbundled from the Premium Package and ordered standalone (with Nav) on the 2013 E92s (I searched for awhile on this and did not get a definitive answer)? Many thanks.

Just a quick shout out to francesca and Ryan at Steve Thomas~! I've been in the process of getting the m3 coupe for about 6months now- finally going to put the order in this week. They've been amazing through the whole process, from all my colour changes to small tweaks.

It just hit me, Im ordering a BMW M3! Ive been driving a 1996 acura CL for the last 13yrs- got me through high school, college, my first job, then through medical school and now a couple of months into residency.

Happy motoring everyone~!

yeah- just doing residency in the US! Huge cost saving between buying the car in US vs. Canada. I'm getting individual paint- most places I contacted in the michigan area couldn't order the colour i wanted or had no idea what individual was!

My acura has been a very reliable car for many years- its sad to let it go. Its approaching 300K MILES. Amazing! It probably would last longer if I had treated it right this past year, but with all the travelling for interviews, etc it didn't get the love it deserved The M3 definitely will!

It was about 5 weeks from getting my production number to getting the packet. I'm about 8 weeks out from my delivery date, so I don't know when you are scheduled, as the may do it "just in time" as it related to your pickup date.

It's got details about the ED experience (what will happen that day), the Welt, the Museum, luggage tags, a small map of Munich, details about some hotels and the Lufthansa airline deals.

Old username, but I've recently sold my TT G35 Coupe and finally just ordered an M3. Here's my build, thoughts?

2013 M3 Coupe
Space Gray Metallic
Bamboo Beige Novillo Leather
Competition Package
Premium Package
Heated Front Seats
Carbon Leather Interior Trim
BMW Apps

Total price (before any incentives and tax) came to exactly $64,185.00.

I shopped around a lot...did I get a good deal?
