Exclamation How much fluid needed for a brake flush?

Hey Guys,

I'm going to flush out my brake fluid soon and need to know how many bottles of I'll need. Anyone who's flushed out their brake fluid know how many liters I'll need? I have 6MT as well so I'll need to bleed my clutch out as well.

Thanks!

you'll need 1L of brake fluid.

Is that enough for both a full brake AND clutch flush?

It will be close if you do the clutch. If you are buying over the Internet, I'd buy 2l.

3L is a lot.

you need max 1.5L if youre doing both clutch and brakes.

for brakes only, 1L is enough.

3L can do three cars. 1L should be enough for brakes and maybe the clutch. Buy 2L and see how far you get. Also, avoid opening the second bottle unless you have to. DOT 4 or DOT 5 is highly hygroscopic (absorbs moisture), so shelf-life of the fluid, even in a closed container, is iffy...but you knew that.
