Does the headrest detach from the seat base on the LCI models? The folks at getBMWparts.com don't think this would work on an LCI, since the headrest does not detach from the main seat.


Any thoughts?

never realized the head rests were not removable in LCI, doesn't seem it would work then.

You can remove them. I think LCI just took away the tilt feature due to some new European safety regulation.
