HELP! Sonic's Paddle Shifters

Hello,

I'm in the middle of installing those SonicMS Verstrasse Extended Paddle Shifters, and I can remove the (&^%*^& gray wire connected to the OEM paddle shifters to save my life. Help!?

Thanks. Yeah thats the guide I was following. I just wasnt able to remove the gray wire. Didnt want to pull ridiculously hard either for fear of breaking them.

I ended up just swapping out the paddles while the housing unit was still attached to the wheel. It wasnt that hard to work with them from the weird angle.

The extended paddles are really awesome. I got them in gunmetal but they look great in oem grey too!

I installed a set last weekend. I love them except I would prefer if they were angled (bent) a little towards the dash. They are so close to the back of the steering wheel, that you can't get your finder back in between the paddles and the wheel when driving.

No such problem here. Love the paddles.

Like the OP, I was unable to get the wire removed and just replaced them in the car. Last thing I wanted to do was damage the wire / connector. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though. Quite simply really.

no problem here - LOVE those paddles. Maybe 03beastcharmer has big hands?? EAS has their own version too, but they're not as nice as these. Simple and very functional.
