Can someone in Europe help ship me a Euro bumper?
Being my front bumper was destroyed in an accident, I'm looking to replace it with a Euro bumper. I'd need someone in Europe to order one and then ship it to me. I can offer compensation via cash or I can supply one of my new carbon fiber diffusers to you free of charge.

Hey,
I would like to help you, but - german retail for front bumper is about $620 primed (about $1300 painted) incl. taxes - shipping to US will be much expensive and damned difficult in terms of size - I'm unexperienced in handling this (usually you do not have to pay 19% taxes) I will try to find out handling and shipping costs, please PM me your adress and give me more informations which version of bumper you need (headlight wide system ? park distance control rear ? park distance control front and rear ?). And i need the dimensions of this bulky parcel to find out the shipping costs... regards Gerd |

as a privat person it seems to be impossible to ship a parcel of that size
from germany to US. All parcel services (e.g. UPS, DHL etc.) restricted the size to max. 120x60x60cm. For professional vendors there are other ways for sure. I will talk to my local BMW dealer at monday whether he can ship it to US... |

A frequent poster/vendor on this board, Gary@RENN-spec, can get OEM painted Euro bumpers. Price IIRC is over $2k, so not cheap, but possible. I have begged and pleaded with the dealer to order it themselves but they can't do it.

Correct. The dealership can put in the order of the part number but BMW NA wouldn't process it. The best bet is RennSpec. I'm getting mine through them. It should be here within the next two weeks.

There are some on ebay.co.uk and ebay.de for sale, and I do not mind using my business courier to ship it for you if you buy it directly from them. J
