Congratulation ! , I also own a paid off 2013 MT with a little over 8,000 miles on the counter
i wish the blue ridge was a little closer but then the speed limit on scenic drives there is like 35 mpg anyway. i-40 is the worst, it has a lot of drivers with an attitude that do not know what a safe braking distance means especially going east. My favourite is i73 South. Usually very little to no traffic, the smoothest best highway road. If i had to give an advice to myself one year ago when i was new to this car MT (i have 30+ years of driving manuals before). I'll say, when driving in 1st-2nd gears only move your clutch foot up 2-3 inches from the floor and stay there for 2-3 seconds to let the car take some momentum. Then after that you can let your foot go up and off the pedal without delay. If you do that you will get a much better drive, and better connection with the car which is quite different than other manuals. |

Congrats!!!!! I love reading about new members picking up low milage M3s. It's like buying new for a fraction of the price. You are going to love every minute in it .
