Anybody from Dallas area recently buy an M3? I'm looking to put an order on a 2011 M3 convertible. The price online gave me about $81000. What's the most I should pay? How do you know what the dealer invoice is? What does ED mean?

thanks, in advance. All the threads is pretty helpful.

Anything 500-1000 over ED invoice is good. My 2011 e92 M3, SG/BLK,ZCP,ZPP,ZTP,302,403,494,6NF,752,6FL+$1k dealerprofit is $63,010.

wow you guys are getting awesome deals like 63k and i dont understand how come i am paying over 100k on this car in Canada. Does it include all the taxes and pdi? As for the ED do i have to go all the way to Germany and drive it back by myself?

We're going with seasoned ED salespeople who are giving us very good deals.

For the ED, you have to fly to Germany and pick up the vehicle, and then you drop it off at one of many locations in Europe --including Munich, if you like -- for shipping back. BMW pays for the shipping.

Not sure if you can do an ED to Canada....this is for a US spec car sold at ED invoice and transported back. Basically BMW is passing along the typical US dealer network payments/incentives. It nets out to be just under $4k (ED invoice compared to US invoice).

ED for Canada yes, but from what I read people do not get the ED discount that we get in the US.

Just confirmed my order with David at Passport and put down the deposit... like he says, at invoice.
Going with the SC delivery since it's only about 600 miles away and shred some BMW tires on their cars for a change...now the wait begins...

...ok, is it ready yet?

(E90M3 jet black/black/carbon 6MT...everything except headlight washers, smartphone integration, shades, high beams, moonroof, and sirius (rethinking that last one))

Thanks!

Go to Edmunds.com and plug in your options. It will give you Invoice pricing as well as a TMV Price. I looks decent to me however. Mine is 72455 and I am getting it for 68K, which is 1K over invoice according to Edmunds, the other option is paying 19.95 for the Lease Kit. it is a one time charge for life and well worth the 20 bucks. It will give you all the info you need to know.
