how to remove AC vent?

My E92 rear passenger ac vent is broken, I want to try to fix it. Anyone know how to pull it out? Thxe90

The rear vent and storage pocket with lid easily comes off by prying at the seam near the top on both sides of the console.

Am going to try removing that myself as well, since the annoying rattle I have seems to be coming from that area. Hopefully I can quiet it down from there. Time to put my plastic prying tools to good use .

Just pry it off evenly on both sides and it comes off easily. There will be a small wire connector that you will have to disconnect if you plan to move the removed piece away from the console.
