E93 2008 M3 Convertible STRIPPER on eBay

This must be the cheapest 2008 M3 convertible you'll find, and for $2000 under MSRP. Absolutely NO options, standard features only...I've never seen one of these before!

Technically it's got ONE option -- the metallic paint

Good deal for someone in the market for the E93 M3 but on a budget (so-to-speak)

True, it does have one option...I missed that.

Yes, I believe the state you register the vehicle in will collect the sales tax when you register it.

how much would that weigh then?

or better yet, how much lighter is it than a "typical" one?

Wow, good find. I'd never buy an E93 without CA though, and it would suck not to have at least 6FL and bluetooth, and heated seats would also be missed. Solid deal though.

if you are referring to the remote roof operation, skipping CA and going for the SmartTOP module seems to be a more cost effective choice

that's what i am planning to do

Not a bad idea. If its like (or is) the aftermarket one that came out right as the E93 335i debuted, I recall it being not quite sorted out yet. Can't recall the issues they had, but hopefully its all ironed out. It would still make me a little nervous about warranty issues, but it is definitely much cheaper than ZTP.
