H&R springs and spacers with stock 19"

Hey guys,

just picked up my car after installing H&R springs with 25mm drop in the front and 15mm in the rear. Additionally I added some 15mm spacers in the back which makes it look perfect in the rear.
However I think I should put some spacers in the front aswell. Do you guys know how many mm I can get?
Here are a few picks. Bigger photoshoot will follow one of these days.

The back looks really good, but you definitely need some spacers up front. You can get away w/15mm up front as many on this forum have done.

Hey guys,

Bad news!

Ive been driving around with the drop for about 2 days now and the edges of my reartires look like they hit the fender a few times (scratches and stuff)
Most off the time I drove without music and I didnt hear any noise whatsoever.
What do you think guys?
Im pretty disappointed since my setup even got TV here in Germany and you know they are pretty strict. Ill probably go back to BMW on tuesday and ask them what the hell this is all about.

Anyone experiencing the same problem? Any advice?

Looks like you are rubbing a little. You might need to roll the fenders or go down to a 12mm spacer in the rear instead of a 15mm one.

Eh is it just me or are you running negative camber on the rear? It might just be the camera is tilted?

When I saw your pictures, that was absolutely clear to me!
15 mm in the rear is too much - with offset 23mm of the stock rimms and 15mm spacers you end up with an 8mm offset - this can not work.
I attach pictures off my M6 rears with an offset of 17mm and 285/30-19 tires.
That is the absolutely limit, when you use the car and let it work on the road.
If you are only cruising you might be able to go for some less offset, but I would recommend a maximum of 5mm spacers with your setup.
I also have the H&R springs installed.
Who ever sold you this combination and even brought it through German TUV is a gangster - unbelievable

Ok guys,
I brought the car back to BMW to have them solve the problem.
Eventually they did, at least thats what they said.
Apparently there were 2 little thingies in the rear fenders that were coming out of th fenders towards the center of the car (best way I can describe it with my limited english knowledge ). They cut them off and now there shouldnt be any rubbing anymore. Well see how it goes...

It was an official BMW dealer who ordered and installed the springs and spacers. They checked with H&R and for stock 19" that is the setup that H&R recommends, which means no rubbing issues and TV approved.
The TV checked the whole setup at the dealer and approved it.
I really hope the problem is solved now. Ill keep you guys updated.

BTW, what is a negative camber?

Negative camber bedeutet negativer Sturz - kann ich auch nur empfehlen!
I have front and rear max negative camber within factory limits.
