I had lemon leather in my 2006 330i and after 3 years of ownership it still looked great. You will need to wipe it down with some leather wipes about once a month and condition it annually but other than that it was great. |

Very nice interior... and thanks very much for the replies gents, should make those decisions a little easier. Now on to the ever present 6mt vs dct choice. I'll save that for another day...

And you will still come back around to choosing what you want, in spite of any potential or conceived draw backs, be it 6MT or DCT.

[QUOTE=BMRLVR;8901707]Cast vs Forged is not as big of a deal as a lot of people make it out to be, especially on a street car. If cast is good enough for the ultimate M3's (M3 CSL and M3 GTS both used cast wheels) it is good enough for mine.

You don't see the Arctic colour everyday. I almost wish our 335i was that colour, although I'm still weary about light coloured interiors. Asif |

6MT of course!! Oh sorry, wrong thread. Just one more confirmation of the 5185.00 ZCP package cost. Jamie summed it up nicely as far as the breakdown goes, I too thought it was reasonable for what you got.
And much like with Jamie, BMW was just super and waived my $400.00 special order fee. Sadly though, the next line contained the figure for the Individual stuff. I was heavily medicated when I signed the cheque, thusly able to waive the "psychological" factor that James mentioned lol. But...'ya only live once", "can't take it with you" and all that other crap that you try and think of when you go goofy with these cars!!! Good luck with the order Canuckles!!! |

@Mark
Thanks for the kind words, btw I followed your thread and I adore your Monte Carlo Blue + Rust Brown. It's stunning in pictures, which probably don't even do it justice. And seeing your car at the Welt on the rotating platform is part of the reason why I hope to do the same! I would also add 'bucket list' to the your affirmations for spoiling ourselves. One question in order to ge the grills blacked out does it have to be a special or individual order, and can you get the clearshield or 3M protector installed there too? @Chowster I'm on the island, so BMW of Vic. Had been in brief contact with the BMW store in Van., however opted to go local as another member of my family might pick up a car from the same dealership. However, I have to say I hate the fact that they are the only one in my area, as of now they won't even let anyone test drive their M's anymore without a "deal and a handshake"... Black grills (matte or gloss) can be had for <$100 in the aftermarket market. 15 minute install. Even for super-novices like me. Have a search for my photos in other threads.
Don't worry about having only one store in Vic. The demand for M cars is so high here in the lower mainland, deals are terribly hard to come by. |

Prob much cheaper to DIY. As for BMW of Vic, it's just simpler keeping it local and your're right, there's no way I'm going to get some ridiculous deal anywhere else. Though I'd imagine you at least have several choices where you can get aftermarket goodies installed in the Lower Mainland (ESS/AA supercharger anyone...). Here I believe there's only one.

All my aftermarket goodies (little stuff so far) come from the US. But yes, lots of choices with shops around here.
You're going to SC right away? If I were to SC, I would probably consider shipping to IND from just over the border and going nuts with a full set of mods. I'm sure Jamie can enlighten us on this process! |

No not right away, maybe down the road. Cousin has a Z06, and don't want to here about how much faster it is heh. Plus seems like every road has a 35-50km\h limit. Lots of older people over here... and I love IND's work.

Canuckels, Chowster answered your question about the black chrome. Careful what you buy though...there's OEM, followed by good quality repro's followed by garbage. I'm sure you'll choose wisely!!!

i wouldn't do the zcp if i had the choice. for that kinda of dough you can get some nice KW coilovers and new rims/rubber for pretty close to that price and the handling will be better and lowered to your idea of perfection. if you have any inclination to mod, then steer clear of the package and do it yourself, it's a lot more fun that way.
just my 0.02Cents worth. |

Greetings fellow members, I myself am facing the problem with my local SA saying there is no "competition-package" for ordering a new E90 M3 sedan (after exhausting all the resources from this and other posts such as providing the SA with the 7MA code, the fact that this IS a special order and the cost being 5,185 CAD). Obviously, I disagree with the SA as there surely are members driving their 7MA equipped M3.
As such, are there any suggestions (from those who successfully ordered your 7MA equipped M3) as to what else I can do so that the SA WILL see/know that such ordering EXISTS in Canada? Thank you all kindly in advance. |

The best way to find out shipping details is to call IND and talk to Ilia, he will go through the options/pricing on shipping and the modifications you want to do. Best of luck!!! |

If that's not geographically possible a call to BMW Canada should sort it out.
