Need information on installing an amp/sub
I'm sure this topic exists already but I couldn't find anything on the search.
I would like to add an external amp/sub combo to put in my trunk. So what I need is to tap into the existing stock system's line out (speaker level output is fine) and the +12v switch. What's the best way to tap into these sources? My car is a 2011 E92 M3. I'd like to avoid ripping out the dash if possible which I had to do with my E46. |

Just send a private message to Technic. He's a very helpful forum member and happens to sell a harness that will allow you to do exactly what you are asking about.

I have the standard sound system in the M3 with the Navigation system installed- basically I do not have the premium/enhanced audio system upgrade. I have an a Audiobahn subwoofer and 1200w amp that I'd like to try and install in the car if I can.

I do not offer any add-on sub harness for the HiFi system; I will be offereing for sale a HiFi harness soon to replace the OEM amp completely, though.
