e92 - Indexing USB drive w/ ignition on and charger?
Hi...have an '09 e92 m3 that is my non-winter driver...i have a usb 2.0 128GB drive loaded with 75GB of music...since i rarely drive the car over an hour in a single trip, the music and playlists do not index...so wondering - if i connected a battery charger to the car and put the ignition to "on" (not start) and let it go for however long it takes, that the indexing should work...does anyone think this would have any adverse effects?...would it work?...my charger is 25A and i can't believe the draw would be a lot - but not really sure...my battery is a year old...any thoughts or advice?...thanks...R
