Will refinish centers to brushed aluminum w/ chrome step lips. Darwin has an old BBS face that he will use as a guinea pig. He's going to let the wheel refinisher refinish that and send me a pic to see if I like it before we do my rims. If I don't like them, I'm thinking of a matte or satin titanium finish.

Despite the aggressive offsets, I'm hoping to squeeze 285/25/20 and 305/25/20's under the fenders....we'll see how that goes when the time comes
I like the way you think. Hopefully, you will be able to pull it off.

All that m3post can offer you is a very big good luck with fitting those tires with those offsets.

It will look unbelievable, no doubt, but be prepared for major rubbing

Can't wait to see how this turns out

I like it. I think you live in the same neighborhood. See your Benz around once in a while.

Thanks. Where do you live?

I have a Challenge Race Diffuser on order. Since no one knows when (or if) it will arrive, I picked up this used one tonight. It's been painted matte black - not my 1st choice - but it's temporary until the new one comes in.

I also came across this Duke Dynamics diffuser. It looks similar to the challenge one so I may pick this up if the Challenge never arrives. Anyone know the quality/fitment of this company?

Car's built, sitting at port waiting for a boat! Maybe in a month or so?

Wheels not built yet. Darwin's waiting to get back his "tester" LM-R to see how the brushed finish comes out before he touches my wheels. Darwin does it right

Darwin's going to follow up on progress of the test wheel today. I'm still waiting to see how that brush job turns out before we go ahead with mine.
