I Am F-ing Pissed!!!! Car delayed.

Back when I got my production # my CA tells me I'm week 10 build which is this week and all this week I've been calling the 800 # and listening to the machine "Scheduled for Production with no production date" WTF is my thought every time, but everytime I speak with customer relations and they confirm week 10 build, today I call and again "Schedule blah blah" transfered then the operator tells me that my production has been pushed back to week 16/week of April 13th WTF WTF WTF!!!!!! she tells me that sob story of the 19's no being availble and that a bunch of cars have been pushed back b/c of this issue. I'm wondering if this is from the first 19's debacle or if it is reaccuring again...I am pissed that I have to wait longer!! WTF

sad thing is there is nothing I could do but wait longer, not getting it is not an option

I feel for ya', with all that pent up anticipation. I think it's probably the continuation of the shortage and supply has still not caught up. I'd like to think the cause was something like a broken 8,000T press and not poor planning, but we'll probably never know. Hang in there!

This sounds eerily familiar...

Hopefully they move you back up.

are 19" wheels that important to wait for? What about taking them off and getting an earlier prod date.

Omg that sounds horrible...

Perhaps deleting that option might push you up a few weeks?

Ah yes, we're in the era of instant gratification...

Feel the burning anticipation and revel in it.

Good things come to those who wait. Like Euro seats hopefully!

I asked if that would bump me up and she said that no since my producation date changed completely...

Unless you are planning on buying aftermarket wheels, yes the 19s are worth waiting for (imo). Buying aftermarket or the 19s after delivery is a lot of extra money for some people.

Sorry, for your delay, Monsta.

Sorry to hear the news. I've decided not to call in very often so that I don't get my hopes up.

Last year we ordered a 335 vert and there was a two month wait until my dealership had an allocation (then the wait for it to be built etc) - the wait was terrible then and so I completely feel for you.

That is horrible news, dealers say what they have to, to please customers. I have been told the same stories about my PC delivery, this week no that week, sorry you're going to have to wait, blah blah blah. I feel your anger! Maybe the demand will drop and for the inconvenience your SA may move a little on the price? Just wishful thinking.

monsta, cheer up - you will have the first IB/FR car in the US (world?) and your car is going to be very unique in that regard, and IMHO, look amazing. And then people will see how good the combo looks and everyone will start ordering it and then you can say that you started the trend.

+1 I wish I had your problem right now. Mine is not even in production yet. I'm still like No. 7 for the bank. On the bright side I'm getting a test drive tomorrow from my dealer.

I wouldn't worry that much, it's just a car. You still have one right? The longer you wait for it, the more you will appreciate it.

Yep! Take a nice road trip mini-vacation this weekend.

You'll have your M3 for a lot longer than you've been waiting for it. Once you are behind the wheel, all the frustration you feel now will turn to pure joy!!!

Try not to sweat it. You'll still be driving the first US M3 99.9% of people see on the road....

Don't feel to bad guy you got me beat by a day in April and I ordered my M3 in June 2007 so just take a guess how I feel seeing people having a M3 before me Keep your head up guy if I can hang in there this long so can you.

IB/FR is a great combo. I almost bought a preowned M6 with that combo. With the M3, I played it safe with AW/Black. Can't go wrong with any combo IMO!
As far as the wait,,, we are all in the same boat,,, and that boat F'ING SUX!!! When I hear others getting deliver dates I get jealous but also happy for them. Hold your course, it WILL arrive soon!!!!

I'm not worrying about it anymore, hell it could be worst I could be paying "Market Value" but its only a little longer wait and just like you said schedule is not firm, so who know what might happen. Yes I enjoyed my friday night hung out with my older brothers and had a blast.

Thanks, I'm not sure about the first in the world/US but maybe M3post, starting a trend don't count on it but it wouldn't be a bad thing.

Again guys thanks for all the support, as much as I want to stay away from the forum I can't, all of you guys who have your cars CONGRATS and Drive Safe
