Why is the Japanese M3 Lower than the US M3?

there was no VIN on the winshield or door, so ther it was on the strut.

Why are we waiting for a Japanese VIN?

The part numbers for Japanese market M3 struts are on REALOEM if you look up the European cars rather than the North American market ones. The struts are different but the rest of the suspension is the same.

Presumably once you have the part numbers you can just order them.

Thanks. We already have a VIN from Soaristo. We're just waiting on e46e92love to post what the different components are and presumably pricing for each.

We know that the shocks are different across regions, and REALOEM does have part numbers for those. However, there are no part numbers for springs, and it's not clear if other suspension components are different. I was hoping that with a Japanese VIN, e46e92love would be able to dig a little deeper, but now that trail appears to have turned cold as well.

According to what I've read about 1 series performance parts, springs are different for every car depending on the type of options you have. That's why part # do not appear on catalogues. BMW probably has a database that matches VIN to springs.

At this point, we should just get the special edition suspension parts. Much easier to source.

Any idea when the Edition parts will start appearing on REALOEM? Do you have any other way to source them?
