I see you enjoyed your ED as well ... did you have some good German food?

Safe driving always ... say hello to hubby for me.

PS. Tip ---> If you edit your M3 garage (just click on edit then save) it will move your M3 up to the top on the list.
Hi Rolf! Thanks for saying hello.

I actually didn't get to do ED with the car, but I did a "fake ED" of sorts, hehe, by going to Germany and then driving several passes in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland.

As you know, we Canadians don't get a rebate with ED. The husband was a little hesitant - as it was our first time in Germany, we spoke no German, and what if we got into an accident, etc.? We had a ball, so I am glad we did it that way, at least for the first time. Although if I have one regret - it's that we should have rented an M3. We rented (or so we thought) a 3-series, but got..... a Mercedes, lol. In the end, because of a special that Sixt had going on, the M3 would not have been terribly more expensive and would have been a lot more fun in the Alps!

I loved Germany! We want to go back, including back to the Welt.

Lease was up on my 997S and I wanted 1. Better ride 2. Back seats 3. Pull and sound of a NA V8 MT, possibly for the last time 4. Time for them to improve the 991 power and rear end

...says a lot when someone is trading from a 911 S, GT-R, etc.

Agree with all your points, and in particular the engine and ride. I used to have a semi heavy modified M3, and honestly, now riding this car stock ZCP again, I miss that feeling and versatility it has for daily driving. EDC is a wonderful feature!

Good news is, maybe this time you can keep both the M3 and the upcoming new and improved 991 S!

E90 is certainly awesome and in retrospect I should of included it in the multiple choice. But similarly with the E90, the last version of that car (2011?) would be the best version due to the way it will hold value later for collectors. 08 with IDRIVE CCC and without updated gadgetry is not an equal car in resale value to the 09-11 models.
08 is not equal to 09-11 simply because it's OLDERRRRRRRRRR and most are currently out of warranty! lol

Mine is not one of the choices.

Because I could finally afford one, have always wanted one and it just happened to be a 2013.

lol, this is a good response. most of the time the answer is simple - people buy the 2013 because they want/can afford a new M3. no one cares about this 240E shit anyway.

You said it brotha! It's entertaining to see people get sooo "sensitive" about something seemingly unintentionally miscommunicated.

991 down on power? 400 in a light car and it pulls harder than the m3.

I don't even know what 240E is. I am so old the 240E was a cool Datsun sports car back in the day :-)
