OEM Brakes Re-Installed NOW NOISY AS HELL!!

I put my stock brakes back on yesterday. Now it sounds like the REAR brakes are "Dragging" on the rotors and are screeching pretty loud. The noise is continuous whether accelerating or stopping. It seems like it's just the rear brake pads dragging on the rotors.

- I pulled the wheels, removed the calipers and double checked everything, and all looks fine.
- It's not the dust shields because I cut them away for BBK
- Brakes seem to be functioning correctly
- I've only put about 6,000 KM on stock brakes, pads are still in great shape
- I'm running Castrol SRF
- I bled the brakes in proper order and 2 full cycles, 4-5 times per caliper each cycle

Any help/ideas/thoughts would be appreciated

Could the parking brake shoes be dragging on the drum on the back of the rear rotors?

Try lightly pulling up on the parking brake handle while driving and see if the noise goes away...

OP, why did you switch back to OEM brakes? Selling or other reasons? Just wondering.

I sold my trophies and bought some GTR's and was going to run my stock brakes for winter because the winter wheels I bought won't fit over the GTR's

oh cool. Well guess check everything out. Maybe a stuck piston causing a pad to drag???

I would guess the heatshield is rubbing against the OEM rotor drum. What happened to me was I cut the rear shield. In the process I bent it forward slightly. Found out I had an issue with a mounting bracket (used kit) so I have to reinstall the OEM brakes. I pulled out and there was a similar noise as you described.

I just bent what was left of the heat shield back.

I haven't driven it very much since putting the stock brakes back on. The weather has been pretty brutal up here but the difference is significant. I haven't pushed it hard enough to get to the "fade" point.
Stock (VS) Trophies is significant. I don't think I could go back to stock after running on the Trophies. The initial bite of the Trophies was the first thing I missed, pedal feels completely soft now (in comparison) This may have more to do with the stock lines.

Had Brembo GT on my car, went back to stock with Stoptech Pads and SS Lines (6 lines). Initial feel is actually superior to the Brembo in my POV. It's easier to modulate and there's a longer time to play with the downshift period (6MT). I don't track in this car, just spirited drive, so we'll see how it goes.

When brakes are put on for the first time it takes a while for the screeching noise to disappear

I had that happen once with the rear calipers.
In my case the outside pad got wedged at an angle against the caliper and didnt move freely.
All it takes is compressing the pistons, and then freeing the pad up
