I would love to see this in person. How much did it end up costing?

Prince:

Does the exhaust sound this good even after the engine is warmed up? I ask, because the exhaust is always louder on cold start up, but then it becomes quieter when warmed up.

And how is it from inside during normal city driving?

Thinking of doing this in the new year.

Horsie, what i noticed was that it sounds the best around 2500-5000 rpm. It is around 50-60% louder IMO. The rev matching is way more fun as you can hear the exhaust and engine and as soon as you push the gas, even if you are 3000 rpm, everyone turns around. The cold start sounds really good but it gets maybe 10% more quiet after. Anyways, I could not be happier to be honest, definitely money well spent!
Also the guys who did it (unlimited performance, http://www.unlimitedperformance.com/ ) were amazing, I am so happy with their work quality, i totally recommend them.

Forgot to mention about its costs,

I did it at Unlimited performance and exhaust. I got them to paint it for me as well. I ended up spending around 350 ish for labour and 120 ish for parts (total $470 including GST). But the parts that u purchase is pretty much good for modding 2 exhausts, so that 120'dollar will be almost half (So total would be around $470 - 60 = $410).

Unlimited performance did an amazing job IMO. Took her in the morning and picked her up at 3 PM

I think for the next cars, it will take them less time to do it as it was their first time to do this mod.

Also the next guy in Calgary who wants to do the mod, can use the rest of my stuffs if he wants to save $120/2= $60

Just bought a 2011 M3 cab, I'm located in Airdrie, car arrives in 3 weeks approx. I work in Calgary and would like to hear this compared to stock sometime. Worried might be a bit loud with the top down. I hate drone, as I deal with alot of drone on an Armada and a Titan.

Welcome and congrats for your new purchase.

Join us for our next meeting, there are a few of us who have done this mod and all of us are extremely happy with it. The next meeting should be in May sometimes.

I'm definitely in on that. I WORSHIP M3'S. I've waited for my car for a long long time and finally could do it with wifey's blessing. And I mod the heck out of everything I own with an engine.

Congrats on the purchase! I have not heard the exhaust mod in person but I have also never heard a bad review about it to be honest. Hope to see you at the next meet.

James, It was because most people said they gonna wait till May to change tires, so I thought maybe we should do it by then. I think if we want to go for a drive as well, by May we will have nicer roads. Up to you guys!
