I'm interested based on the value and testimonials. If the perforated pipes are just replaced with straight pipes, why not just use straight pipes and save the weight of the muffler housing?

you need to ask Lalit at AutoCouture how they devise it. Ohh_5h1t will know also since he coordinated this group buy for the members here. Kudos to him

I will be getting mine installed in a week or so - I will post videos with an analysis. Will be good tho since I heard it already - and it's really nice.

It will produce a different kind of sound eliminating the muffler as a whole. If im not mistaken... deleting the can entirely will produce a lot more high pitch raspiness in the tone. This method gives it a nice deep grunt without it being overly obnoxiously loud. It's absolutely perfect IMO. A bit louder than the regular OEM mod, but less crazy than the entire straight-pipe muffler delete.

Bear with us guys, ACM has been closed due to the power outage in NJ. Lalit@AUTOcouture has had difficulty keeping up with the forum. We are hoping to be back on track by monday. Ya'll should have answers soon.....

We've decided to extend this group buy another week considering ACM was down power due to Sandy and we were all thrown off by the disaster. Those of you pending answers/additional info will be contacted ASAP! Anyone else still interested please post your reply. We are just about that 15 person mark!
