I THINK I found matching Carbon Leather FINALLY!
I HATE the fact that our center consoles in the M3 did not come with what ever trim we opted for on the dash and door panels. In my case, and many others the Carbon Leather would look awesome wrapped around the center console. I think I may have finally found a pretty damn good match and since they are never side by side, even if its a little off - it will still work well.
Let me know what you guys think..I plan on doing the center console around the shifter and iDrive and probably the small piece in the rear around the vents/ashtray for rear passengers.

hahaa i think so too, he is a local upholstery guy Ive known for a few years. He tells me the stuff isn't cheap, working out details about pricing.
My question is, will the ashtray area with the door that opens n closes be able to open and close still once this fabric is applied to it?

It seems to be pretty tight. You'll be applying this both to the door and then to the trim and I have a hard time believing it will open and close normally.

Great find Slammed, I think its a great idea...the astray im 50-50 on because it might be a bit tough opening and closing it, but it depends if you use it a lot, like if you smoke or load it up with change
i dont do either so its ok! PM, me dealer and pricing once you finalize everything with your guy! cheers |

I think it'll look good. Just don't go too overboard on putting everywhere in your car. Keep it tasteful.

Like I mentioned in my original post, I will only do the 2 centre console pieces (same as the regular 3 series would get - the 328/335 have those two pieces covered in the same trim as the dash and door panels, but for some reason they didn't do it for the M3
