Nice, thoughtful analysis. If I didn't need mine as a daily driver, I might be tempted. Just not practical enough for me, though. Beautiful car!

If you look at the pic of the car in the garage you can see I did take it off. However, I just wanted a cleaner look. I was not looking to be a GT3 clone.....

Nice P-Car. Gotta love Guards Red. I did the oposite. Went to a Porsche Dealership needing to be "talked into a 911", drove a 997S and loved it.

But, being 6'3" I felt cramped in the cockpit of the car. The driving dynamics were amazing though. And you are spot on about the sound those flat 6's make. I almost pulled the trigger on a holdover Silver 997S w/ the aero kit for 85k, but every time I looked at the profile of the car that wing looked like a Taco to me (flame suit on). Seeing it in Guards though really changed my opinion on the Aero kit. Looks much better IMO in Guards than in Silver (maybe silver is too pedestrian?).

Congrats on your P-Car! Definitely looks more exotic than the E92.

Nice looking 997.... I considered a 997 when I was shopping for the M3....but knowing how I have to have "every" option...that gets WAY to pricey quick in P-cars...so M3 for me!

I did buy another P car since I got the M3....but its a track car...
