what to use to clean/condition black M leather

everything I've tried is a problem... even the 2 step Zanio. seems to almost discolor and it's like it doesn't get absorbed.
strange, never had this problem with any leather....

many of you must have black interior, what do you use that is safe that will clean and protect?

It was a blazing hot afternoon yesterday, so I decided to use the leatherique oil and cleaner that i bought from detailed image. (The product is supposed to work better if the interior of your car is hot)
I used a trim brush to coat the leather with oil, let it sit in the sun for about six hours, then used the cleaner. Great results!
Made the leather super soft like its supposed to be; nice matte soft finish without shine, not slippery, no weird smells.
I've used Lexol on my other car, but this stuff was really superior.
I even put some on the steering wheel leather, and it worked great.
Only thing that is a bit inconvenient is waiting for the oil to penetrate. I just did six hours, but others have waited a full day.

I've heard the BMW leather system is good too, but I haven't tried it.

I'm glad to hear that you achieve great results with Leatherique...as is to be expected when following the simple instructions.

Heat00...I use Leatherique regularly on a wide variety of vehicles, and always find it to be an amazing product. If you buy the 16oz bottle of Rejuvenator Oil, then buy the 32oz bottle of Prestine Clean. Then you can just use the Prestine Clean for maintenance cleaning and conditioning.

I've never had to "wait" for the conditioner to "soak" in. Am I doing something wrong?

Is the leather still looking good on your E93
?
I'm wondering because the E93 is suppose to have sun reflective leather and I haven't found any info on how to clean and maintain.

I've had my E93 for two months and the black leather is every easy to scuff up. I use plain water and it cleans up OK but I'm really concerned how this leather is going to hold up. My old E46 M3 with nappa leather was a mess when I sold it.

A relatively new car shouldn't need a 'rejuvenator'; just conditioning.
I personally use Griot's Garage leather conditioner; smells great, and dries clear. And yes, it's best to condition leather when warm, so conditioner penetrates better with the more open pores.

Leather is usually dry from the factory, especially if car sat on a parking lot for any length of time. I always saturate the leather initially, which can take many initial conditionings (you'll know when it's properly conditioned), but after that, every month or two in summer is all it needs (depending on use and if car is exposed to heat, obviously). And don't forget about the vinyl; it dries out too, so you want it conditioned as well. Tinted windows help a lot in preserving your interior longer as well. As long as leather doesn't dry out, it lasts looking like new a long time; it just needs proper care. Remember a car interior in a hot summer day can get above 120ºF; that heat dries anything after a while. Good day to all.

I just wipe down with a damp microfiber cloth every week to keep dirt from building up and then about once every 2-3 months I will do a treatment with Spinneybeck cleaner/conditioner. Leather still looks like new with the matte finish. No shiney oily finish that you get from other conditioners.

I have some of the lotion, that I found in the garage.

I use the Autoglym's leather cleaner and was wondering if this conditioner/lotion would suffice as further treatment.

P.S. I have only cleaned the leather twice since new. Its been almost a year, with the car spending 3-4months in storage. Garaged 99% of the time. So the leather is still pretty soft and supple but dont want it to crack or anything.

Heard great things about Leatherique but havent tried it.

Normally i just put Pinnacle Leather Conditioner on the seats since it doesnt look greasy and smells great.

Absorbs nicely if i leave the heated seats on. Otherwise leaving the car in the sun for a bit works too.
