How is it not legal? Or are you saying it's not legal in NY?

That's very legal here in TX.

You got 35's on your Silvy? Post up pics, bet it looks clean.

well if he was in cali I should say its not legal! the cali chp say anything over 35" has to be covered by a full size mud flap so rocks and debris dont hit other vehicles! Ive been ticketed twice for it!

thanx for the compliments!

if your bumper is 30 inches off the ground in ny i believe its illegal.. and your suppose to have a rear bumper as well i think,,,,

i have never been bothered by the police at all, and they are behind me all the time... my plate is tucked under the back too, tires stick out, and grill that cover the headlights... all illegal... once gain, they are really cool w/ lifted trux around here, but in ny (long island) there aren't that many...

i have a 16? gallon tank and have been getting 280 miles per tank stop and go driving....... not too bad....

k & n intake, 2.5 inch borla exhaust, nwor headers, hi flow cat, dynomax muffler, 5.29 gearing (precision gear) and throttle body spacer... maybe all thsi adds 15 hp? maybe? lol
gearing was like adding a supercharger!

i rarely do any offroading, no where to go, but i may beach it this yr, not scared of offroading the truck either, i try to take care of it though

Where the pics man?

Yea, the height varies per state. In Texas they measure to the lights. The Tacoma's damn near bulletproof.

Wouldn't he also need fender flairs? And a contract with OTIS to get into the cab.

20 mpg does seem awful good. You must change to a light foot when driving it. I too have a Silverado as my daily driver, the V8 sucks enough gas for me though, no thanks on any crazy Mickey Thompsons! But I like it, you've really kept it up well all these years. I love driving Toyo trucks, they're a blast.

Franco you're cute: you fix it hon! After you call someone to pick you up of course, or pull you out...whichever applies

I wasn't trying to make fun. I was really curious.
Guess you don't carry a spare for those monster wheels.
Yes, I guess you pull over and need to call someone.
But, can the "standard" tow truck fix a flat for those wheels?

anyway, those are some big A** wheels/tires.

I'd be embarassed to drive that on the road. Now if that were purely off road car and I didn't have to drive it around anywhere else...would be fun

I'm sure that thing would work really well for some off road fun.
