Nice work, really clean. RSD is rumored to have one for m3 coming similar to the 335 version.

I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but keep an eye on the valves further down the road. I had mine installed a year ago this past June and had one quit working a couple months ago. They have a lifetime warranty and I never close them, so I'm not very concerned, but it will still be a PITA to have it removed, shipped off, and re-installed.

Cool. Too bad you coulden't get the switch installed in a more stealthy way...

You might want to look at down pipes as well. It will direct the heat away from your muffler and undercarriage. Could cause damage long term.

A word of advice for everyone with cut-outs.

Every once in a while - tighten down the assembly (geartrain to bracket) or blue loctite it all. On my second brand of cutout actuators, and they too now have missing bolts attaching the geartrain/motor to the bracket. I may be an extreme case, the car spends a lot of time on the track so the cutouts see big temp swings.

Ellwood is the pug.

This set up really drone when open from 2000-3000. But closed it quite as stock. I love the sound and really lets me adjust for my mood .

Thanks for info on lock tight I need to get under there and check everything anyway.

Isn't the loss and gain of back pressure too sudden for the computer to adjust? A++ for cool factor, nicely done

Does not seem to bother the car much. The muffler has very little back pressure to begin with.

Thanks again for all the kind words. I open and close it multiple times every day. Work, home, cops. The best mod I did hands down. I have had many comments all the way from, nice sound, to wow did you swap the motor with a NASCAR...

Badboost: those buttons are blanks on the M3!

Woah this is amazing. That switch is cool, how hard was it to set up all the wiring?
