G'day,

Being away from Oz I'm hearing second hand that the M3 E92 made the top 5, either No. 5 or 3 (my bet's on 5).

Anyone read the issue and any insights / tidbits to share on Robbo's observations?

Yes it was posted in the E90 forum. The 996 Carrera made it in at number 2!

Yeah it came in 5th! they said it was one of the best all-round sports cars, and praised it's engine!

Wasn't it just Peter Robinson's opinion, NOT Wheels Mags view??

Either way he is well respected so not a bad wrap when you look at the few cars he rates better....

Yeah I think it was based on the car's all-round capability etc. Well that's what I gathered from flicking through it...I'll have to read it sometime more thoroughly

Agree. I heard he rated a P-car 996 very highly, which is a bit odd considering the 997, 993.

Me: I'd take an F458 over the 599.

Well, the Turbo 996 is a different animal: so that's what he chose for no. 2 (?)

I saw my first one 'warming up' at Zuffenhausen. Nice
