Ride comfort is very good, turn in and grip is OK but not as good as either the PS2 or PSS. They are middle of the road performance wise but one of the best bang for buck tires around if you are OK with the compromise. Another option is the Continental Extreme Contact DW. Only slightly more $$ but with arguably better overall performance... just a thought.

I have these in the 255/35 and 275/35 x 19 size. They currently are my track tires but started out as my road tires. My comparison is a new set of Michelin PS2 in stock size.
The ventus compared to the PS2 is significantly louder and not nearly as smooth, on the street under normal road use and a bit louder than my original Continentals (were OEM for me). Grip is pretty good on the track, but I can't really say if it's better than the Michelin or Continental. However, at the limit these tires don't squeal as much as Michelins but still very forgiving when at the limit or just beyond. No idea about wet traction but I bet the PS2s are probably better. Overall a pretty good value with some compromise on loudness and smoothness compared to the gold standard PS2. |

pretty good for their price, i had them on my VMRs and will run them again on my new wheels.
They are a bit more noisy than the PS2...

Came with the wheels I purchased and just put new rubber on.
Grip is not very good in the wet. Very good in the dry. Sidewalls are too soft for hard cornering is my biggest complaint. Overall, its a great bargain and a decent tire. Tread last Forever! Not sure the tread rating but i put over 30k miles on the first set and they stil have another 8-10k.

^ +1... If you're doing street driving most of the time they are fantastic value for $$$. Track use, you could find a better tire with more grip but they'll all be significantly more $$$.
I've got them on my DD and absolutely love them. |

I have had these: 14K and 1 track day before swapping to Conti DW.
I will buy the Conti's again. The Hankook were great value, they just slipped a little on damp roads. I have no idea how someone can squeeze 30+K out of them, or any appropriate performance tires, on an M3 and be getting the most out of the car.

We've done a few of our recent cars with a set of these tires and we haven't heard any complaints yet! I will be putting them on my wheels when i get them on!

Have V12's on my E90 ZCP which now has a "square" wheel setup (all 19x10 ET25). Fronts are 275x30 and rear is 295x30. They are quiet, no harsh ride, and handle very well to the point that you would never know the difference doing street driving. And as others mention the $$$ cannot be beat. Paid $818 for 4 brand new V12's and got a $60 rebate AMEX card in the mail from Hankook.

I have them for almost two years and wish I didn't go the cheap route. There is a large loss of traction on the wet roads and the noise level is higher compared to Contis I had before.
