Has anyone tried Sonax Polymer Net Shield?
Has anyone tried Sonax Polymer Net Shield?
If so, how much time did you spend on it? Any tips?

Great product. Tight beading. Almost coating like properties. Seems to hold up pretty well. Spray on applicator. Apply to a small section at a time. Wipe off after each section applied.

I applied it for the first time the other day. basically the application is as mentioned before. Phil from DD told me to apply a small section at a time and immediately wipe off. I did so and found it easier to wipe off than leaving it to flash for a minute or 2. If left on for too long it can be a PIA to remove. Water beading was exceptional for they price of the can.
I only applied it to 1 car and love that I barely used any product. I would definitely use again

I tried it as well and didn't see any significant improvement over cheaper stuff. Application definitely is finicky as mentioned above. I used this in conjunction with the Sonax Nano wax. But now that I'm thinking about it, I might put it on wheels and see how that works out.

Having my M3 paint corrected to polish out any and all hairline scratches then OptiCoat Pro going down after that. So, I'll be treating the wheels on my wife's 335 soon. Until then I've found a new use for the Sonax Polymer Netshield - my shower tile. I first did the hardware and some 50/50 tests. Pretty clear results but noticed my overlap onto the tile also beaded water. Prompted me to do a 50/50 test on the tile itself and I was impressed. I guess this stuff will bead water no mater the surface. Stay tuned for a wheel test.
