Agency Power Exhaust...

I was over on 6speed and found this...30 peak hp from just the rear section????
Has anyone heard/seen this exhaust in person?

"The ultimate driving machine now sounds like a true sports car. Agency Power has taken the E92 BMW M3 big V8 engine and given it some sound steroids. The Agency Power exhaust has a great tone which gives your car that race sound many desire. Our exhaust system has been engineered and dyno tested to not only improve the sound, but gain horsepower, and improve top end performance. After months of testing, we have completed this beautiful dual muffler design system. The all T304 stainless steel exhaust is TIG welded and polished to a mirror finish. The exhaust uses the existing hangers for a secure rattle and clearance free fit. To stand out amongst the rest, the system features quad 2.75 inch titanium tips with a burnt finish for an exotic look. This muffler section also includes the S pipes to give you a complete bolt on exhaust system. As test on our Mustang dyno, the exhaust gain power throughout the RPM band and its peak gain was 30hp and 20ft/lbs of torque. A great addition to an already well factory tuned car. The exhaust is designed to fit the E92 M3 coupe and cabriolet only."

I've heard of Agency Power before (Friend as their exhaust on this Z), but I never know they had an application for the M.

Anyone else think it's odd that the exhausts in the picture and first video don't match up?

Reason the pic & exhaust (in the 1st video) don't match up is b/c exhaust in the 1st video was a prototype. The pic is the final version. They also have cat delete & section 2 midpipes:

I wonder if the owner of the M3 in the first video is in the porn industry. With a license plate that reads "SCRWBIZ", it's either porn or nuts and bolts

I had the rear section installed on my car for a few weeks and the sound was just sick! Even the service techs at BMW loved it. Anyway, I did not keep it because the tips stuck out too far because I have an e90 and it was designed for the E90. I hope to have their midpipes installed today and mated with the stock rear section. I will post pics and sound by the weekend.

Did you notice any drone at all with your rear section?

Is it more of a deep v8 rumble (Mustang v8) or high pitched F1 sound? Have u heard any other exhaust(s) in person to compare how loud it is? I've only heard da Eisenmann race in person & while it does sound good, that's not da sound I want. Pretty loud right? Thx!

note it only give the 30hp gain with an ecu tune or chip. Stock is a 5 hp gain. I mean for the price though I am in!

Is this what you've been told, or is it a guess... something else?

Did you get the full header-back (axle-back & catless midpipes) or just the axle-back?

Well, it's a guess (for now) b/c all the images on the Agency Power & Vivid Racing websites are the same which is the Freheit-style exhaust. I say for now b/c a local vendor just got it in-stock yesterday & I'm suppose to check it out within the next few days. I can verify when that happens or somebody can just call Agency Power/Vivid Racing (same company). I believe someone on this forum had that prototype & said it was insanely loud. Not sure why they changed the design. I'd like to hear it before I actually commit.

I'm very curious why Agency Power didn't make the typical X or H-pipe design for the midpipes. As all of you can see, it's literally just 2 straight pipes with no hanger mounts. AFAIK, this setup's the lowest price for a full header-back exhaust on the e9x M3 (~$2400).

I just went with the cat back system no fuller header back. I mean because of the design the straight pipes back the system should be insainly loud, and I wanted to keep mine slightly more civil. Agency power has a good rep and I've bought things from Vivid before and have been satisfied. I chose to buy this time from APE because they are new and wanted to support a new vendor. Taylor
has been very helpful and I am sure if you contact him he'll give you all of the details.

Well, I want it insanely loud (it's my weekend toy so all good) but it has to sound good not just loud only, LOL! Yeah, Vivid Racing's legit (I bought my wheels from them). Funny you mention APE Performance since that was the local vendor I was talking about. Taylor has been very helpful. I'm suppose to check the whole thing sometime this week. It's so hard to resist buying from a local vendor if they have the item I want in stock since I get to see it before I purchase it. Must resist...for now...

Dyno gains are 5hp and 3ft/lb of torque with rear section only. 30hp and 20ft/lb of torque with midpipes and software. Here is the dyno sheet:

Is your exhaust the one that GMP is selling? I saw a used one posted on their website a couple of weeks ago.
