Having a hard time keeping my rear end clean?
Just washed my AWM3 went for a ten minute spin, got back and the entire bumper, trunk, and rear quarters were filthy! I Just have the small factory spoiler. Will a different spoiler change anything? Or do M3's do that no matter what. For the record this is a random pic of my M, not where I went on the 10 minute rip, err I mean trip
Pic for reference to the see my spoiler

I have the same issue. Must be aerodynamic design in the rear (sts).

I recommend this stuff called monkey butt powder. It helps. Wait we are talking about our rear ends right???

Any vehicle with decent aerodynamics will do this. As you drive, especially at speed, a vacuum is created behind your vehicle and dust will get sucked in.

definitely talking about the car, just a little levity in the thread title.
Figured the aerodynamics was the culprit, so I'm better off with a small spoiler then a larger one? The least amount of crap on the back of the car would be my choice

Without question aerodynamics are the cause. Anytime I take a trip at higher speed in my AW the rear end looks nasty. In a wind tunnel I am sure the dirt laden wet material that goes over the roof and sides - deposit on the rear, because of the diffusers, and as LarThal indicates the vacuum created. |

Lol ^.
I thought white was easy to maintain because it generally doesn't show dirt. Well I was wrong. Space Grey doesn't show dirt because it's like teh same color as dirt. I washed my Space Grey 335 like only 10 times in 3 years. I've had my Mineral White M3 for one week and it already needs a wash. And year my rear end is durty

it gets worse when you have an exhaust. the shit that flies out the exhaust usually removes the wax from my rear.

Get used to it, it sort of gives the car character. Just make sure to wash the car weekly if daily driven or every two weeks if used intermittently.
Here is a pic of the M after a week of daily driving (not usual) on somewhat dirty roads because of the rain |

I use a California duster but only for fine dust like sitting for a week in my garage.
