Finally Rear Fog Upgrade!

Well I just did this mod tonight. I know some people have figured out how to do this using lego pieces or replacing the entire switch. I prefer this route because it leaves the light switch looking totally stock. So I get the functionality of the switch without drawing attention to it. (stealth-like)

William has done a great DIY:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...80#post4590780

Where I live we do see a fare amount of fog, especially where my family lives in the central valley. I think it is the best mod for $20 or less! How easy is it to do? On a scale of 1-5, it is a totally a 1 DIY. If you are interested check out this thread:

Ahhhhh, finally got the orange rear fog indicator....

I never understood that? seems like it would defeat the purpose of it. Like I stated in an ealier post(different thread) about rear fogs, I would be cautious using it for backing off tailgaters as cops might think you are 'brake checking' the person behind you.... BTW, I love your sig quote, GC is/was awesome!

I brake check people all the time, isn't it the responsibility of the person behind me to give themselves room? I believe the law states it is illegal to tailgate.

I have tried every method under the sun to keep people off my ass and have come to realize the most effective method is to just move out of the cocksuckers way. Of course the person behind you is supposed to leave a safe distance behind you, no one is defending tailgaters Sticky, but be honest, how often does brake checking actually work? I think it more often tends to escalate to closer tailgating, then maybe slamming on the brakes and so on.... the reality is, you just can't make shitty drivers into better ones.

I see what you are saying and I understand your perspective. If I use my brakes, and they get back on my ass, I just let off the gas and force them to slow way down. They get so frustrated they switch lanes. Then I accelerate...
