I hate pollen

It's that time of season where my car constantly looks yellow from the outside and inside.. Makes me want to put my car in storage. I dread cleaning my car all the time. Anyone else annoyed with pollen?

If it's just pollen, get a California car duster. It makes cleaning pollen off an otherwise clean car so much easier.

My M3 is in my garage most of the time for 2-3 weeks until I drive her, even with the door closed, this yellow pollen shit gets all over the car; I'm with you on the hate.

I got no love for pollen, tree sap, bird droppings, etc.

Just be glad your paint is not matte...

If the car never got even slightly damp, some pollens can be blown off with an air blaster/hi-speed leaf blower. Turns out pollens are generally very spherical and will blow off easier than other types of dirt on the car. The pine pollen here will blow off as you drive down the street if the humidity is low!

Absolute car killer. It's seriously a race to dry and cover my car every time I wash it. I also appreciate the sneezing fits, itchy eyes, and coughing that it provides me. Man, this thread really made me realize how much I HATE POLLEN!!

+1

Pollen sucks donkey balls. You can use the California Car Duster, and it works pretty well...so long as it doesn't RAIN on the pollen you got on your car. Then you got this nice little layer of yellowish-green mud!!!

I don't mind it on the outside because it can be washed off quickly, but having it in the interior sucks.

After I wash the car, I pull it into the garage, close the door and use the California car duster!

I live in California and have no idea what a California Car Duster is!

First time I heard it I thought it was some sort of 80's contraption for cleaning residual white powders out of the interior...
