manual tranny 6mt help

a few days ago i have experienced a wierd behaviour with my manual tranny in my 2008 me e92.
when shiting at high rpms (6500+) into 3rd and into 4th gear ( ie. 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th), the receiving gates in the shifter seems to be far up for the 3rd and far down for the 4th gear to a point where it is almost impossible to shift. like when i get on it on 2nd gear and try to shift to 3rd i just cant, the tranny/shifter or whatever does not want to accept the shift. under normal driving it shifts just fine. i have no grinding noise or anything.
please help

I would start by changing the oil and see if it helps. Options include OEM , Redline ATF D4 or Redline MTL (which I run and love).

The oem oil is designed to be run for ~45k (or three oil changes worth of mileage), way too long for me to keep in there. I switched to Redline MTL and shifts have greatly improved, granted I also got a new tranny from the dealer due to blown synchros.

See if oil helps then report back?

Ok
So I have changed the oil with OEM stuff and shifts have only improved by about 15% only.
Any other suggestion ?

OP's issue isn't fluid. The shifter and/or linkage needs to be examined, possibly the entire transmission, for damage or abnormal wear.
