Bass response in Enhance Premium sound?

I'm about to order an E90 with the upgraded audio, but I'm wondering about the bass response. I'm not a basshead by any stretch but would like to know abouth the low-end on that system. I added a basslink to my IS because of its missing low-end, but I haven't read much about E9X'ers adding subs, leading me to believe the bass is adequate in these systems.

i honestly don't think the premium sound is worth it... with that extra $1900 for premium sound.. I would rather pick up aftermarket speakers (jl audio, alpine, or harmon) for a more refined crisp sound and a sub for a deeper bass.

I have an 11 E90 with EPS. I think the bass is woefully inadequate, and I'm no basshead either. Definitely less low end than my previous IS350 which had Levinson system. I'm in the process of adding a dedicated 10" sub in a sealed enclosure in the trunk. Will probably post some pics and give impressions when I'm done .

I am in an IS250 (I had to have the manual tranny, and the 350 doesn't give the option) and had to add an infinity basslink to get any low end. I like the idea of the JL stealthbox, but don't want the crazy output of two 13" subs. One 10" would be perfect I think. Post some pics of what you go with. i'm flying blind on the M3 trunk becaseu my order won't be here untile mid-late dec, so I've got time to figure it all out.

EPS + SVS SWS8 subs and 500w amp make a very good package. Hard to beat unless you spend a couple grand and rip up your car (which was fun in a part life, but not with a 70K car and a family).
