Can the KW sleeve kit achieve this drop?

Hey guys.... I know all the spring options we have for the E90 M3 don't give that much of an aggressive drop. Coilovers are a bit out of my budget... so I was looking into the KW Sleeve kit because it is able to provide a bit more of drop than just regular springs.

My question. Do you guys think the KW sleeve kit can get close to achieve this drop....

the kw sleeve kit actually goes pretty low, but i would save up a little more and get coilovers if you're wanting to be that low. from what i've read the kw sleeve kit rides subpar compared to most springs on the market.

Yes, they can achieve that drop. I ran them with my Forgestar F14s for years and LOVED them. Go coils if you plan on dropping or it's a waste of money. I also know a vendor who offers great pricing on KW if interested. PM me if you like.

Don't believe everything you read bro...I've had the KW Sleeves for over 4 years now and they ride great. Shit, I even track hard on them still. lol Not one issue ever with my EDC. I hardly doubt these are subpar and springs are a better option than the KW HAS. I never understood why people bitched about them...either they got a effed up kit or an effed up install. lol

To the OP, yes...you can achieve that drop on KW HAS. If you don't care about EDC or your car doesn't have it, go full coilovers.

Here's a pic when my car had KW HAS on its lowest setting front & rear.

I ran the KW Sleeve kit for a few months before going full coilovers. It was a good kit but unfortunately did not go low enough in the front to achieve the look I was going for. Plus, I needed more camber flexibility. It did go plenty low in the rear though.

It is impossible for it to ride anywhere near good as stock or not compromise performance when you're that low on stock shocks. Plain and simple. You don't have enough suspension travel, the OE shocks are not valved for that ride situation either.

You're also not "slammed" though.

LOL! I'm barely higher than the car posted...I know that car/guy personally. Slammed or not...do you have first hand experience using these on an E9X M3 application?

I guess riding on bump stops means riding great? There is not enough travel in the stock shocks at that height. Read the thread Malek posted where he measures this.

As someone said. Plain and simple. But I guess ride quality is subjective and some think riding on bumpstops means great. I guess it is if you compare it to a civic with blown shocks and cut springs

i don't have first hand experience, just read too many unsatisfied reviews on KW HAS for me to go that route. I've ran several KW setups in the past and was very happy with them though.

The car posted looks nearly an inch lower than yours. To me thats a decent amount lower.

Actually, his car is about 1cm or .5 inch lower than mine...that's not a decent amount by anyone's standards. Haha

ijnoj09 Pare...he thinks your car is "slammed" compared to mine. LOL ...a little lower yes, slammed no.

I'm through trying to convince anyone here otherwise on how they personally feel about the KW HAS kit. Some people don't like it, great...I personally do like it and have lots of first hand experience with it. I'll just leave it at that.
