I went with the stage 2 MS intake over this primarily due to it's gains and induction sound as well. For 500 bucks, it's a fairly cheap mod

Have people tested or gone with the AA green filter in the MS stage 2 intake instead of the MS filter it comes with?

Just replaced my AFE drop-in filter with the AA and it's amazing. The quality is top notch. Love that the side of the filter is metal. I suspect the AFE deformed over time, which this one definitely shouldn't. Great customer service too, got mine in 2 days.

I love their exhaust, but their tuning prices are outrageous. $1200 for a catless setup, and you have to find a dealer or mail your ECU or buy a $350 programming tool. Pass.

I'll have to give this green filter a chance once my current one is done. I wonder what it will sound like combined with the Dinan intake.

Had a filter laying around for about 3 months. was waiting tell i needed something to do one night. The install was easy, and the new sound is nice. i can hear more noise in the higher RPM for sure. IDK if its more "engine noise" or air noise. Either way i think its worth it. I only drove the car a few miles, so i havent had real time behind the wheel.

Where's the blower in that shot?

I enjoyed the AA green filter as well, great addition in the engine noise department.

Will the MS Stage 2 intake sound louder than the AA Green??

I would love to know because i want more of an aggressive sound and something that will pair nice to my ACM exhaust.

IDC about performance; more in for the noise. I know the MS stage 2 comes with a wider tube but does that increase intake sound??

Anybody have the Akra Evo and AA filter? Trying to find out if it produces that plasticky resonance between 3k and 4k RPM.
