Wash Mitt

Can anyone recommend a good wash mit? Wool/Lambskin etc.

Is this something that i buy at a local auto parts store, or should I go to a more specific place?

Thanks

I use this one: http://www.autogeek.net/carpro-wool-wash-mitt.html

Regular wool mitts work ok but they get heavy with water when you use it and they fall apart over time because the wool falls off the hide that it is attached to. Regular wool mitts only last me a couple of months before the wool falls out and I need to replace it.

This mitt is 100% Merino wool with a super plush nap compared to regular wool. The wool is sewn into the synthetic backing so it does not fall apart. It has a mesh backing that you can stick your hand in so your hand feels comfortable and makes the mitt not as heavy when soaked like a regular wool mitt. A bit pricey but it is the best wool mitt I have ever used.

I prefer a microfiber mitt over sheepskin. Cheaper and can throw it in the washer when you're done http://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-X3002.../dp/B000RXKR6M

i've had this for two years now and i think it's the best out there to wash your car. it lets you see the dirt easy so i don't even do the 2 bucket wash method because i can easily rinse out quickly with some water from the hose

from our experience customers like different things we have a $6 Uber Wash Sponge that many swear by as well as many customers that would rather buy our Uber Wool Wash Mitt at $34.95.

one more to throw into the mix-these microfiber mitts-

http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/...ortby=ourPicks

a detailer rec'd them, the strands seem to do a good job of releasing dirt so you don't micro-scratch the paint.i'm intrigued by the merino wool mitts, though.

I have been using the Uber Wash Sponge and Wash Mitt for quite some time now. Both have been great and scratch-free.

I plan on purchasing the rather affordable Auto Finesse Wash Mitt some time soon just try.
