GPS Tracker system?

Hi,

Can I get your thought about GPS Trackers you may have ordered/installed in your car?

I'm thinking about getting the Trackstar 5.

Any comments/thoughts much appreciated.

Thanks.

In addition to BMW assist stolen vehicle recovery program I also purchased LoJack for $295. LoJack in the states is what the police use to track your car if it has been stolen. It's extra piece of mind. Once the antenna is covered up the GPS tracking for BMW assist is useless, same can be said if the battery for the car is drained. I am not sure how much the Trackstar 5 is, but it seems a lot better than LoJack I would say go for it.

The problem with LoJack is it only works in certain parts of the US. A small percentage land mass wise. For example in the Harrisburg, PA area, it doesn't work and your car can't be tracked. I know that because that's where I bought my car and lojack wasn't available.

BMW assist works all across the nation/world.
