OP, nice thread! Yeah, there are older ones, but who cares. I like seeing lists like this and see if I knew any of them. I didn't even get to test drive, so it was a blind purchase. Just on reputation alone, I was sold. Call me crazy, but I coveted the M3 for so long not to get it.

This made me smile. You must be polite. I've never done it, but I might start just cause of you.

Yeah, I love the M3 and wouldn't trade it for anything else.

I've had my m3 for just a few days. While attempting to figure out where to store my sunglasses, phone, etc. I noticed the storage on the inside bottom of the door.

I thought, "what would you put in there, I can't even get my hand in it."

Then I pulled on it and it tilted out.

I love threads like these. Keep the discoveries coming.

I've had the car for 5 months and am discovering new stuff about it all the time.

They are not brake ducts, one acts like an cold air intake, and the other actually directs air to the oil cooler, FYI

that seatbelt hander over always struck me as something to be easily broken.

here's #11: there are very little people living underneath the front of my car near the exhaust inlet. when I park the car for the night they start their day and make their breakfast. when I turn off the garage light I can hear the sizzling of eggs frying...

You can tell in the rain because the left side vent burbles and spits up droplets while the right side remains inert.

This M3 thing is a farting - lurching - belching spoiled brat for the first 5 minutes after startup, especially in cooler temperatures. Almost embarrassing if you encounter any traffic in the first 5 minutes as you try to keep revs low.

I have old ladies in Prius cars giving me the finger in the first 5 minutes as if to say WTF.

It gets you watching the rev counter and oil temp until it gets into 'I am ready to roll' mode.

Then all the Prius and others get digested for lunch.

Yup, did so today (in my suit after church, lol, I love this car) and yes, right side has a cooler for sure, and is vented to the right wheel well i.e. to the brake rotor? Or maybe this is just the vent for this (oil?) cooler...?

Hmmm...that's odd unless you happen to have a highway entrance right near your house? My M is a bit balky with cold starts but really not that slow. I'd certainly not have problems dispensing with a Prius immediately after cold start (FWIW, Prius drivers used to be the worst but locally quite a few of them seem to feel they now have something to prove and actually speed or even tail gate!)
